[Dec 2] [Teen Titans] Fire in the Sky
Title: Fire in the Sky
Day/Theme: 3. Losing streak
Series: Teen Titans

“What happened?” Robin asked, leaping over the stair railing to fall the rest of the way to the floor. The other Titans were looking out the shattered main window at two comets blazing away across the sky. One was green, the other purple.
“Family reunion, Tamaranean style.” Raven said, without looking away. The purple and green lights jinked and clashed over the city, swinging wide, and then slamming back together again.
“There’s going to be a lot of UFO reports tonight,” Beastboy said.
“Well, technically it IS an alien attack,” Cyborg said.
“Why are we just standing here??” Robin demanded, ready to spring to action.
“Because it’s almost over.” Raven’s cool voice brought him up short. Sure enough, there was an especially green flash and the purple streak dimmed and fell. Somewhere out in the bay, there was a splash. After a moment, the green streak went after it. “There. All done.”
“I’ll go see if she needs some help carrying Blackfire,” Beastboy said, turning into the pterodactyl and flapping off into the dark.
“I’ll start fixing the window,” Cyborg sighed. He started off to get his tools. Raven just turned away to return to her room, and Robin was left to stare out at the suddenly still stars.
