Spike knocked on the door until Jet opened it.
“Didn’t you realize Faye was cheating you?” he asked in an annoyed tone.
“She was cheating?”
“Of course she was cheating! She had rigged dice and you ended up standing in front of her buck naked.”
“So she guaranteed herself a look,” mused Jet. “You think maybe she enjoyed the show?”
“She only wanted your underwear!”
Jet crossed his arms in front of his chest. “Says you. I think I’ll go ask nicely for my shorts back.”
“Nicely?”
“Sure. I thought I was just on a losing streak… but maybe not.”
