"Hey, Tenchi!" said Ryoko. "Pass the pickles, wouldja?"

Tenchi set down his bowl, passed the pickles to Ryoko, and picked up his bowl—

"Lord Tenchi?" asked Ayeka. "May I have some noodles?"

Tenchi set down his bowl, passed the noodles to Ryoko, and picked up his bowl—

"Could I have the soy sauce, kiddo?" asked Washu.

Tenchi stood up from the table. "Where ya goin'?" Washu asked.

"I'm going to order a pizza from my room," Tenchi said mildly, "before I starve to death."
