Keiichi got ready for bed— and found a purring Peorth in his futon. "Peorth, get out of my futon," Keiichi said.

"Why ees eet zat I may not stay with you?" Peorth asked. "L'hommes usually wish to be with la femmes."

"That might be so," Keiichi said, "but I'd prefer an opt-in arrangement, instead of an opt-out."

"Zat ees what I 'ave done," Peorth said proudly. "I am a snuggle-bunny of l'amour, and so I 'ave 'opt-in' your futon."

"Peorth, get out of my futon," Keiichi said again, not really expecting more cooperation than the last time he said it.
