“Your feet…” He gasped suddenly.

“Yes. I have two.” She settled in, tossing her hair over the back of the pillow.

“They’re….” He flinched again. “Like ICE!”

“Don’t be such a baby.” She curled up against him. “Mm. You are nice and warm…”

“Aughhh!” The frigid feet slipped between his legs, burrowing against his thighs. His arms flailed, knocking the blankets off them. The difference in their height meant that when they were nose to nose, her feet were only to his knees. It wasn’t usually a problem. “Geez, woman!”

“Oh, you noticed?” she chuckled. The fact that she was showing more skin than temper was his first clue. “Relax. You’ll have them warm again in now time.” Her lips brushed his ear, and those goosebumps had nothing to do with the cold.
