"This," Jay explained not-so-patiently, "is how we are going to do this. You will spend one week a month at my house. I will spend the same amount of time in Werites Beacon. It's the most fair and convenient arrangement for all involved. I presume your bandits won't complain too much?"
"Why would they complain?"
"They're having their Fearless Leader torn from them. Do you expect them not to complain?" Jay paused. "Also, I refuse to sleep in your tent. I'm renting a hotel room."
Moses ignored the implied insult to his boys in favor of saying, "Hey! There's nothin' wrong with my tent!"
Jay snorted.
