Belldandy sat alone in her room, late one evening, doing some knitting before bedtime.

Someone knocked at her open door. She looked up, hoping to see Keiichi, but it was Skuld. "'Night, Belldandy."

"Goodnight, Skuld," said Belldandy. She returned to her knitting with a sigh.

Soon, she heard another knock, and looked up hopefully again. It was Urd. "See ya tomorrow, Bell."

"Goodnight," Belldandy said. She couldn't hide the disappointment in her voice, but Urd didn't notice.

And then, Belldandy heard another knock. "Oh!" she said out loud to herself. "It's only Peorth."

"Bonne nuit to vous too," Peorth huffed.
