A bemused Washu and Sasami watched Ryoko and Ayeka bicker for Tenchi's attention. Tenchi stood near, ironically forgotten for the moment.

"There they go again," Washu said. "I wonder if those girls know just how foolish they are."

"Ayeka is much more absent-minded than she used to be," Sasami said. "And Ryoko... well, she hardly does anything but obsess over Tenchi."

And then, Washu and Sasami watched Ryoko and Ayeka bicker some more.

Sasami sighed wistfully. "I wish I was old enough to be a fool for love."

Washu grinned. "I wish I was stupid enough to be that foolish."
