Ryoko walked up to a hot-springs bath, carrying equipment stolen from Washu's laboratory under one arm, and a surfboard under her other arm.

Tenchi walked up beside her. "Ryoko, you can't surf in this tiny—"

"With Washu's quantum space expander, we can!" Ryoko kicked Washu's invention into the onsen, grabbed Tenchi, and jumped in.

"HEY!! WAIT A MINUTE!!" Tenchi yelled.

Ryoko paused. "What's the problem?"

Tenchi pointed behind them. Ryoko had apparently kicked Washu's quantum space expander into overdrive— she and Tenchi were standing in featureless waist-deep water that stretched to the horizon in every direction.

"Uh oh," said Ryoko.
