"And he freaked," Washu guessed.

"Big time," Ryoko said. "What's up with that?"

"Most men have a fear of commitment," Washu said. "And Tenchi's only a kid, and we're practically immortal. When we say 'forever and ever', we mean it."

"I didn't really mean it," Ryoko noted.

"Mmm," Washu said. "You'll probably get yourself killed soon, one way or another, anyway."

"I'm never asking you for sympathy again," Ryoko growled.
