"Do you think he can win?" Fuuma asked.
There was no need to ask who who 'he' was.
Subaru handed him a cigarette. Their fingers brushed. It didn't matter though, Subaru had no wish. Subaru lifted his his head, watching and waiting until Fuuma had lit his cigarette before speaking.
"I have no hope left."
"Do you want him to?" Fuuma asked, smiling a smile that was his own.
"Yes," Subaru said, tilting his head up to look at the sky. "Seishirou-san said I was still kind."
