Kyon turned on his computer, and surfed to an eBay auction, expecting to have won a collectible with no other bids. But to his dismay, he found that another user had "sniped" the auction at the last possible moment.

His cell-phone suddenly rang. He answered it angrily. "WHAT!?"

It was Haruhi. "KYON!! I just won a collectible for the SOS Brigade club-room!! Hee hee!! I just knew I'd win it! Some loser put a low bid on it, and— Kyon!? KYON!!"

A face-palm-ing Kyon hung up on Haruhi. Solipsistic supreme beings shouldn't be allowed to use eBay, he thought irritably.
