"This is damn embarrassing," Ikkaku complained.
"Shut it," Zaraki recommended.
"We could just buy her a teething ring," Yumichika suggested, folding freshly-washed nappies. "It wouldn't cost that much --"
"Oi!" Ikkaku snarled. "That money is our drinking money."
"See?" Zaraki asked rhetorically. "Besides. She likes it."
Ikkaku blotted up a rivulet of saliva from the baby enthusiastically gumming his bald head. "I'm just worried that she might get used to this."
"Don't be ridiculous," Zaraki snorted. "Not as if your head's some kind of irresistible magnet, is it?"
"Course not," Ikkaku agreed, and wondered why he suddenly felt so uneasy.
