Akiko walked up to Ryunosuke just as he closed a large cardboard box. "What are you doing?" she asked.

"Playing a game with Nuku Nuku," Ryunosuke said.

"Is she hiding in the box?" Akiko asked. "How cute. What's the game?"

"Nuku Nuku got the idea from one of Papa's science books," Ryunosuke said as he opened the box again. "She called it 'Schrodinger's Cat-Girl'."

Nuku Nuku was lying in the box like a dead animal. A small open canister marked 'POISON' sat next to her.

Akiko passed out.

Nuku Nuku opened her eyes, and giggled. "Mama-san is playing dead too!"
