It's been so long that Henry wonders if he isn't just another ghost. But Walter talks to him, reaches out for him and touches him, tells stories about Wish House that make Henry sick. If he's sick, he's not a ghost, right? He doesn't remember, and maybe it doesn't matter.

If it weren't for Wish House and Silent Hill, would any of this have happened? Or was there something wrong with Walter from the beginning? Henry decides to blame it all on Wish House. If not for them maybe Walter would have had a real mother, and at least he, Henry, would have been spared.

And Eileen too. Henry tries not to think about Eileen, and not to envy the fact that she is apparently peacefully dead. At least, he never sees her.

Now Walter is talking to the walls again. He's contemplating the picture of the Silent Hill church and nodding "Yes, Mother." Henry is frustrated, tries to take the picture down, but Walter stops him with a hand on his wrist. Walter doesn't hurt him; he never hurts him now.

"You mustn't disturb Mother, Henry. We share out mother's health."

Henry closes his eyes as Walter strokes his back and hums. He tries to pretend he is somewhere else, anywhere else. And he tries to remember his real mother, but he can't.
