"I wish I could jump over that wall," said Reki as she gazed at the gray partition.
"What do you even think you would find?" asked Hyouko.
"Kuramori, of course! She said she would always be there for me. And I know she's there, on the other side, somewhere."
Hyouko shook his head. "We go to the other side when it's time."
"You don't even know what will happen. Nobody does. Take me over the wall to see her. Do this one thing for me, please."
Hyouko remained silent, but he already knew he would do exactly as Reki asked.
