Belldandy was working outside the temple, with Urd to keep her company.

"Beautiful weather, huh," Urd said.

"Yes," Belldandy said. "Early spring might be my favorite time of year on this Earth. Nature is awakening from its slumber, and summer will soon be reborn again."

"Mmm..." Urd looked away. "You know that, as goddesses, we'll both out-live this Earth. There won't always be another summer."

Belldandy paused her work. "Yes, I know," she said quietly. "Nothing is forever, not even a goddess. But, it's just another reason for us to cherish these summers now."

Urd smiled. "Yeah, I suppose so."
