Walter didn't usually find a victim quite a perfect as Jasper Gein, a man who seemed to appreciate an end as fitting as being burned alive in Silent Hill. He watches with a grin as he forces the man's burning hand to carve the numbers in his own chest. One, seven, one, two, one.
Walter isn't certain if Jasper is screaming or laughing as he finally dies. When he stands over the body, looking into Jasper's wild dead eyes, he smells burnt meat. It should disgust him, but it's a smell that means success, the scent of the approaching Mother.
