"KYON!!" shouted Haruhi. "Come look at this list of next semester's courses!"

Kyon walked up, and looked over Haruhi's shoulder at her computer screen. "What's wrong with it?" he asked.

"The classes I want to take next semester aren't listed!" Haruhi said petulantly.

"The school's budget might have been cut," Kyon said. "What did you want to take?"

"I need to learn advanced ESP techniques," Haruhi said, "along with ten-dimensional physics, and alien sociology, and..."

Kyon sighed. "Those aren't exactly real-world skills, Haruhi."

"The SOS Brigade needs those skills!" Haruhi said angrily.

Kyon face-palmed. "I stand by my previous statement."
