[April 26, 2007][Animal Crossing] Come Outside
Title: Come Outside
Day/Theme: April 26, 2007 after the rain shower
Series: Animal Crossing
Character/Pairing: Kio, Tama, mention of various animals

Tama didn't mind the rain at all and went out happily to pick apples. Kio disliked getting wet and so he watched her through the window. He had tried wandering through town with an umbrella on rainy days, but he found that by the time he returned home he was nearly as wet as if he hadn't used an umbrella at all. Tangy would run by and splash mud on his clothes and Monique would laugh at him for being such a big mess.
Tama didn't even take an umbrella with her when she went out. The rain was running down her arms and dripping off her pink pigtails and she was still smiling. The water droplets shining on the apples made them look fresh and enticing.
The rain began to slow and eventually the sun broke through. Kio wondered if the storm had washed up anything interesting on the beach. The door opened and Tama stuck her damp head inside. "Kio! Come outside and take a look! There's a rainbow!"
The brown-haired boy jumped off the couch and ran out to see the colorful arc stretched over Cyrano's house and a stretch of trees disappearing beyond the edges of town.
