“Does she have to be so loud?”
“Let her be, Spinel. She's happy.”
“I've noticed,” he muttered.
In fact, judging from her volume, all of Tomoeda must have noticed. Yes, it was spring. Yes, the sakura trees were in bloom. That was no reason to go prancing around the garden like that, screaming like a banshee, and calling it “singing”. A particularly high note made him wince. He covered his ears with his paws, and hid behind a cushion for god measure.
“She sings off-key,” he pointed out from his new hiding place.
He could practically feel Eriol's grin.
