All of a sudden, Sakura had grown up. The funny thing was that Kero didn't remember it happening.
He was so spoiled, he realized, the day he first heard her worrying about universities. He was used to time being meaningless, to seasons that went on forever, to a bubble of peace and stillness where it didn't matter that the world outside still went on.
But it mattered to Sakura. And perhaps he should have thought that she wouldn't always be ten years old.
This was going to be as much of an adventure for him as it was for her.
