[April 14] [Card Captor Sakura] Searching for Answers
Title: Searching for Answers
Day/Theme: April 14 / Reflections in the water
Series: Card Captor Sakura
Character/Pairing: Kaho
Rating: G
Kaho often stood by the ponds at night. It was her favourite part of the temple; a calm place, where she could put her thoughts in order. Sometimes, the moon showed her bits of the future on the surface on the water. Sometimes, she simply used the silence and the scenery to think more clearly.
She had never needed to think as much as now.
Her father had told her everything he knew about that bell. It wasn't much, and the stories about it varied. Some people said a foreigner had brought it; some said it had been someone from Tomoeda. The only certainty was that it had been in the temple for ages, and nobody had been able to make it sound. Not until that day.
But why her? Why now? The bell had shown her many things, but were they truly her duty? Everything had seemed terribly important, and she was still so young... but the girl in her visions was far, far younger.
There were images on the pond, changing swiftly. But she had seen all of them already. The moon couldn't give her any more answers.
She would have to go and search for them herself.
