Sometimes Clow wondered if one could feel nostalgic for the future. In any case, it shouldn't be called nostalgia, he supposed. But the feeling was real, even without a name.
In those days he would look at the window and see a small cat lying on the shadows, or a girl with butterflies on her dress who did cartwheels.
He would see children, some days, children who didn't belong to his garden. They broke his heart, and at the same time they filled it with warmth.
When his Guardians asked him what was wrong, he never knew what to answer.
