Haruhi held a small mirror to Kyon's face. "Uh, what are you doing?" Kyon asked.

"Vampire check." Haruhi said. "No, you're just a boring human with a reflection."

Kyon raised an eyebrow. "And what would you do if you found a vampire?"

Haruhi answered as she walked up to Yuki. "The SOS Brigade needs more interesting people! I'd even offer it my blood if it joined— EEEEE!!"

Yuki had no reflection. She looked up at Kyon, and conspiratorially winked at him.

I wish Miss Nagato wouldn't break the laws of physics like that, Kyon thought. She's only leading Haruhi on.
