Title: your smiles, your frowns
Day/Theme: 22. the farther you run, the more you feel undefined, for what you have left undone, and more, what you've left behind
Series: Avatar: The Last Airbender
Character/Pairing: Aang
Rating: G
Aang hasn't told Sokka and Katara this, but he is quite sure, absolutely convinced, that at some point they're going to run into more Airbenders.
They have to be out there somewhere. It's not as if they could all have been killed, after all.
And when he finds them, he's going to let them shout at him all they want for running away and hiding, because only family have the right to shout at you like that. Only family have the right to blame like that.
Snuggled into Appa's fur, he remembers what it felt like to have someone disapprove.
