Everything's better when nothing is real. All the memories of her father, of the other man and what he did to her, they're just dreams now, just stories told to a child a long time ago.
Rena cuddles her doll in her arms. It won't happen to you, she promises.
They're going to make a new world, a Never-never land where nobody gets hurt like that. Nobody will have to remember pain because there won't be any.
And she won't have to remember the scent of lavender and cry herself to sleep at night dreaming of her father. Never again.
