Haruhi found Kyon alone in the SOS Brigade club-room, shaking one leg and gasping for breath.

"That's not bad," Haruhi said, like an instructor, "but try to dance to a regular beat. One, two, three, four!..."

Kyon sighed. "*whew* Haruhi, I'm not trying to dance. I just whacked my shin on a chair."

"Well," Haruhi said, "now that you've shaken it off, let's start again! One, two—"

"I wasn't dancing," Kyon said angrily, "and I'm not going to dance now!"

Haruhi kicked Kyon's shin. Kyon gasped and hopped on one leg again.

"Now, then!" Haruhi said. "One, two, three, four!..."
