Kyon, Itsuki and Mikuru were hanging posters and distributing flyers to advertise the SOS Brigade's problem-solving services.

After putting up one poster, Kyon stepped back, crossed his arms and sighed. "You know," he said, "the world would be better off without Haruhi's 'help'."

"Don't say that," Mikuru said sweetly. "It's wonderful that she wants to help other people."

"But she's just assuming that she can help anybody," Kyon noted.

"I suppose our Haruhi has a bit of a 'Messiah complex'," Itsuki said.

"There's nothing 'complex' about it," Kyon growled. "In fact, I'd call it the product of a simple mind."
