The Real World is Out There Somewhere
Fuu liked to lay there with her eyes closed, the sun glaring brightly through her eyelids. She liked to pretend there was nothing in the world but that bed, and the warmth she got from it. Nothing but that hand splayed lazily on her stomach and that leg tangled in hers.
It didn’t matter that outside people were killing each other or loving each other. That was the real world, and for these few minutes before Mugen and Jin woke up and began their morning bickering, she could pretend it wasn’t even there.
