Home used to be the small house tucked between two others, filled with cabinets and pictures and void of any real attachment. In the sense of the old saying 'home is where the heart is', it wasn't a home at all. But that was what he called it.
Yet he'd come to know a different home. Home was indeed where the heart was; it was a girl with no memories and a blank slate for a mind, who he will save no matter what. It was companions who fit together like mismatched puzzle pieces. And his heart was with them.
